IMPORTANT - Booking Rules:

A deposit of 50% is required to hold your session on the calendar. The deposit may be paid via Zelle (contact@nmhstudios.com).

Deposits are non-refundable.

The remaining 50% balance must be paid no later than 6 hours prior to the beginning of your session.

2 hour sessions require payment in full, and the same cancellation rules apply with the 50% deposit.

Can I Pay In Cash?

We only accept payment directly through Zelle (contact@nmhstudios.com).

How Do I Enter?

You may come in through the front entrance on Washtenaw St. Please ring the doorbell and send a message to your engineer or our studio manager when you’ve arrived to be let in. For the safety and comfort of our guests, entry is not allowed more than 5 minutes prior to the start of your session.

Is Smoking Allowed?

If you’d like to smoke during your session a smoking fee of $50 will be added to your booking. Smoking is permitted only in the control room. Smoking in the vocal booth IS NOT ALLOWED under any circumstances ever as it will damage the microphone. Please do not ash on the furniture or ground or you will be charged a cleaning fee. Vapes/Juuls/E-Cigs may be smoked without incurring any fees.

Where Can I Park?

There is free street parking on both 19th St. and Washtenaw Ave.

Can I Bring Guests?

You may bring up to 4 guests if you’ve booked Studio B and up to 8 guests if you’ve booked Studio A. For the safety of our clients and staff this is a strict limit. Additional guests exceeding this limit will be asked to leave or we’ll be required to cancel the session.

What Can I Expect During My Session?

We seek to provide an upscale experience during your session. You’ll be greeted by friendly staff, provided with water and other amenities, and a clean, safe working environment. We also aim to provide you with a demo mix of whatever is recorded during your session, however your engineer will only work during the time you booked. So please be mindful and leave enough time at the end of your session to mix, as they will not do so once the session has ended.

What Happens If Something Gets Damaged/Dirty?

We understand that things happen. All we ask is that if you spill something you clean up after yourself. If a mess is left in the studio at the end of your session a cleaning fee will be assessed. Damage to studio equipment will be handled on a case-by-case basis.
